Throughout our field season, we complete many projects throughout Minnesota and the Upper Midwest. Check out our highlighted projects below!
2025 Project Host
The crew completed the assigned work to a high standard in the time allotted and communicated progress and asked clarifying questions throughout the project. Washed, scraped and painted the warehouse, garage, and outhouse. Applied to coats of oil-based paint to all structures, cleaned roofs, and removed encroaching vegetation from near the buildings. All work was done safely and the job site was clean and organized.

Halfway Ranger Station
When the future of Halfway was up for debate in 2010, public outcry saved it from demolition. Thanks to a strong push for preservation, Northern Bedrock stepped in to give these structures a second chance.

Listening Point- Writing Shack
Sigurd Olson’s writing shack, often referred to simply as “The Shack,” is a small garage with significant historical and literary importance.

Legacy House
In 2017, a condemned building, dubbed the Legacy House, became property of Eco3 with the intention of being redeveloped into affordable housing for VISTA members.
